SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
Senior Class SPE President's Message
Back to School Again!
Welcome everyone. Whether you are new to the program, or finishing up your final plastics classes, I assure you that it will be a year to remember. Besides annual activities like the Christmas party and the Senior Class International Trip, your SPE class officers are working very hard to plan and organize various social events each month. We’ve also been working on PLET t-shirt, sweatshirt, and embroidered polo designs.
I also want to remind everyone that the monthly SPE meetings are an excellent opportunity to introduce yourself to the plastics community. Meetings include dinner, social hour, a short technical presentation, and unlimited opportunities to expand and define your personal career interests.
Remember everyone, the Plastics program is not just any old major offered at Behrend. Professors and students both work together to build a unique community based on both friendship, professionalism, and a common goal to strengthen the plastics industry. By taking advantage of these events, we make the plastics experience more memorable for everyone, open new career paths, and most important, enjoy our time here at Behrend.
