Melanie Micir received her Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research and teaching interests include 20th- and 21st-century British literature, gender and sexuality studies, digital humanities, and archival theory and practice. She has published essays on Sylvia Townsend Warner and Virginia Woolf in the Journal of Modern Literature and the Virginia Woolf Miscellany, and she has curated several exhibitions on James Joyce for the Rosenbach Museum & Library in Philadelphia.
