The following are the application deadlines for Fall 2007 and Spring 2008. All proposals are due in to the Division of Student Affairs (located in Reed 115) by 5:00 p.m. (as determined by the U.S. Official Time) on the day of the deadline. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
Interested members of the Behrend community and proposal authors (or their designees)are welcome to attend SAF meetings to answer any questions committee members may have. Proposal authors should notify one of the co-chairs if you plan to attend. Meeting times and dates will be posted shortly and typically occur within two weeks of the proposal deadline. Funding decisions are made in an executive session of the meeting following public discussion of funding requests.
Prior to meeting the committee reviews each proposal to determine what is fundable and not fundable in accordance with the SAF Handbook and Behrend Supplemental Information. These guidelines as well as frequently asked questions about proposals are provided on the left. The committee typically receives proposals amounting to double, triple, or even quadruple the funding capacity and so a great deal of consideration is given to each proposal. Applicants are typically notified within two weeks of a funding decision. Immediate information about proposal status can be obtained by contacting either of the co-chairs of the committee.
