Penn State Behrend's Gray Named AMCC Baseball Player of the Week
Penn State Behrend Lions
outfielder Jon Gray (State College/State College) was selected as the AMCC
Baseball Player of the Week for the week of April 28.
Gray had an impressive week batting .526 (10-for-19), with five RBIs and
seven runs scored. Gray also picked up two doubles, a triple, and a home run
as he led the regular season conference champion Behrend Lions to a 4-0 week
in conference play and 5-1 overall record for the week.
The sophomore is batting .369 on the season with 54 total bases, 30 runs
scored, 13 RBIs and 12 stolen bases. This was Gray’s first selection
this season as the conference player of the week.
Behrend (28-9) will play again on Wednesday, April 30 at Fredonia. The
doubleheader is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m.
