Allshouse completed her career as the record holder for career assists with 1,947 and for most assists in a single-season with 801 during the 1990 season. She remains second in the books for service aces in a career with 174 and ranks 11th in a single-season with 62 in 1990. DR.
DARCIE BRADLEY As the starting shortstop, she led the softball program to a pair of ECAC titles in 1992 and 1993. In 1993, she led the team to a 2-1 extra-inning championship victory and was named the Tournament MVP. She finished her softball career in 1993 as the NCAA's all-time stolen base percentage leader, earning 47 steals in 48 attempts. On the basketball floor in Erie Hall she led the 1991-92 women's basketball team to the College's first-ever ECAC championship. Bradley's leadership qualities and skills were instrumental in turning both the softball and basketball programs into winning programs in the early 1990s. JIM
CAMP As a sports writer and editor, Jim has helped Behrend Athletics grow tremendously with his coverage and insights of student-athletes. He is a strong advocate of high school and collegiate athletics and a great team player-a team member whose work has often gone unnoticed or has been behind the scenes. Jim's service and dedication deserve recognition for his outstanding work. Jim is also very involved in the Alzheimer's Associations Memory Walk, and is annually the leading fundraiser.
NATALIE KUHN Kuhn was
instrumental in the volleyball program's most successful three-year
period in the history of the program. In 1981 and 1982, she earned
Women's Keystone Athletic Conference Honors and was an NAIA District
18 all-star in 1982. She is third all-time for service aces in a
career with 170, and is 12th in kills in a career with 514.
When she completed her Behrend Lions playing career, she ranked second
in the career kills category. On the basketball court Kuhn was an
excellent rebounder. She is fifth on the charts for rebounds with 623
to her credit, and tallied 542 career points. Her career 7.5 rpg is
eighth best all-time and her single-season rebounding average of 8.7
rpg is the ninth best in a single-season. Nese was also a
member of the 1991 Behrend Lions baseball team. After he completed his
playing career, he then served as an assistant to the soccer programs
for four seasons. He served as the head coach of the women's club team
in 1994 and led the team a perfect 6-0 mark. The women's soccer
program has since managed to post an impressive 101-50-10 mark, win
four AMCC championships, and make four postseason appearances in eight
years of competition. |
