Men's Tennis Player Henderson Named Behrend Athlete of the Week
Elliot Blackstone (Wexford/North Allegehny) was named the AMCC men’s tennis player of the week for the week of April14.
The standout freshmen had an outstanding finish to his season going 8-0 in #2 singles and 8-0 in #2 doubles to help the Lions to win the AMCC Championship title. The Lions finished 6-0 in the conference and 10-7 overall. This was Blackstone’s second time receiving this honor for the 2008 season.
The Lions will look forward to next season as Blackstone and teammates will return to defend their AMCC title.
