Overview:
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology that is becoming a necessity throughout business for efficiency and visibility improvements. RFID systems are being incorporated primarily in supply chain applications and used to enhance asset tracking. The Department of Defense (DoD), Wal-Mart, and Target are just some of the organizations currently requiring their vendors to ship products with RFID tags. With the development of these RFID requirements, vendors and industry professionals must become educated on this growing technology.
This two-day course is designed to prepare attendees for the CompTIA RFID+ examination. Attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of RFID technology, hardware and software capabilities, RFID system implementation, and system maintenance. The two-day program will combine classroom instruction with many real-life applications and hands-on exercises to provide attendees with a comprehensive RFID training. Attendees will gain the ability to install and maintain their own RFID systems upon completion of the RFID Training course.
